ABOUT US
Why Atlanta Strings Stands Out: Experience, Pedigree, and Local Roots
Atlanta Strings isn’t just a music store—it’s an educator-founded hub designed to serve the unique needs of students, families, and orchestra teachers throughout Lawrenceville, Gwinnett, and Greater Atlanta. For over 27 years, our shop has stood out by combining the deep classroom experience of our owners with a meticulous, professional approach to string instrument sales, rentals, and repairs. Operating under new ownership since 2020, Atlanta Strings is now guided by former public school orchestra directors Jamie and Venus Parker, who intimately understand the standards and requirements of local school music programs. Our staff all hold degrees in string music performance, ensuring every instrument and rental meets the “teacher-approved” benchmark for classroom and performance success. With a tidy, welcoming environment, our shop offers a warm, family-friendly experience. We proudly support music education through the Atlanta Strings Foundation and unique community programs, including direct instrument delivery to Augusta orchestra teachers, making access to music seamless for students and educators alike.
